Happy!

Dearest Wan,

I'm so happy! You shud have seen me - i was skipping along in joy, like a small girl!

Guess wat? I got the results for my exams! If you have read my other blog, you would know that i scored a 66% for one of the papers while for the other paper, i passed. The latter was a major concern for me and i did blog that it was prolly one of me toughest exam yet.

Well, i got the detailed results - guess wat? It's another 66%!!!!!! Woohoo! A 2nd Upper again!

Look, i dun mean to brag.... ok, ok, lemme brag for a while, pleeeaase????? ;-P

In the study of Law, it is rarely that students get 1st class. They do - but rarely. It's not like in engineering where there is one fix answer and if you get it, you'll get full marks. Or like in maths. Law is different. As such, a 2:1 is highly viewed.

I was a 2:1 student back in me undergraduate days. Do you remember at Stanford College i got the prize for top student? You shud - cuz after i got that, i took you out for dinner! Mind you, other than me family members, you were the only one i "belanja-ed". Man, that was like so long ago. Hahaha - remember how concerned your mom was that i was taking you out for dinner? Your dad was pretty cool bout it, tho.

So anyways, from fearing that i would fail, i now am elated that i scored a 2:1!!!!

Even when Maria handed my marks to me, she couldn't help but say "Wooow! 66!" - you know, not the monotone "Wow", but the "wow" that starts low and ends on a higher note!!! ;-)

On top of that, the lecturer informed us all that no one scored a distinction i.e. 1st class. She added that for those who scored 66% and above, we shud give ourselves a pat on our backs! i have oredi patted mine!!!!!! Of course, i gave all glory to God! :-)

The other thing that got me estatic was the fact that out of the 3 questions, i scored a distinction (1st class) for 2 of them!!!!!!!! Whoaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

The funny thing about the 3rd question - the hardest question i've ever attempted, and it came in 5 parts - the part which i was most confident of i.e. part (a), well, i got ALL WRONG!!!!! Thank God that for parts (c) - (e), i did pretty alright (in the words of me lecturer, "(c) - (e) is much better than (a) - (b)"!!!! Ironic since (c) - (e) were quite difficult and as i was running out of time, it was done rather sloppily!

Watever!

I'm just soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy, Wan! And i thought of sharing it wif you! Yeah, if i blogged bout it in me other blog, some ppl might think that i prolly just wanna brag and boast. Which is true! ;-P

I thank God. Really. I dun deserve this but it is out of his grace that he enabled me to do so well - much better than expected!

I did good, din I? I wanna celebrate - dinner on me?

I'll be waiting for your reply...

Take care, ok!

Miss ya... soooooo much! :-(
